Although meditation is an important factor of the Noble eightfold path it is not everything. Meditation means to reflect or ponder on a subject perhaps to investigate and observe. Concentration is another thing although similar to reflection there is a fine line of distinction between the two. Sariputta and Maha Moggallana’s death.

Sariputta and Maha-Moggallana were such wonderful disciples that the Buddha said the assembly of monks appeared empty to him after their death. It was marvelous he said, that such an excellent pair of disciples existed. But it was marvelous, too, that, in spite of their excellence, there was no grief, no lamentation on the part of the Master, when the two had passed away.[11]

Living ain’t easy as the old song goes….

I had to take a step back and take a look at it all. After all this is my life and I can do whatever I want…ughh. Stubborn as I may be I had to learn the hard way and through great humiliation. I am dependant on many people aren’t you?  If people don’t do things for me I won’t live very well if at all thats for sure. Not to mention the dependence on earth for food, water for cleanliness and thirst, fire for warmth etc. It’s strange how the earth allows the human race to spread destruction and literally crap everywhere yet still keeps providing.
