Lba online does not ask you for personal details. An email and user name is all that is needed for registration. Once you have registered you will automatically become a ‘subscriber’ and you then can create a profile, make comments or ask questions on any post within Loka blog. Please note; being a ‘subscriber’ on this site does not entitle you to membership with the Lokanatha Buddhist Association, to apply for membership simply visit ‘Join Lba’.


Lba Members have special access to Lba online blog. Subscribers can post comments.

Information for Donations

Online donations – Lba uses a third party to collect online donations called: donorbox.org, they have a strict privacy policy and they store all records and data of every transaction which Lba shall access on their site. Donorbox also uses Stripe.com as a merchant facility to process secure online transactions in which Lba shall access all information. For more information on their privacy policy you may visit their websites. Lba does not share any details collected from donorbox.org and stripe.com with any third party. The Board of Lba are required to monitor all transactions, errors, or refunds. Lba follows the NSW privacy laws enforced by the Australian charities and non-profit commission.

Direct Debit – obviously any donation given through direct debit will share bank account details with Lba bank of choice. Lba does not share this information with anyone outside of the Lba Board. Yearly reports are prepared as general donation amounts and Lba does not give specific details of any donor to its members nor to anyone outside of the board. Lba follows the NSW privacy laws enforced by the Australian charities and non-profit commission.


Terms of use for Subscribers of this site

Please refrain from abusive or harsh speech on this site. Be kind, truthful and respectful to your Lba online community when posting comments or questions.

Lba welcomes your opinions, ideas and feedback. However please be sure to be attentive of Right Speech (one of the factors of the Nobel Eightfold path).

This means to refrain from:
• Harsh speech and use of profanity.
• Divisive speech.
• False and misleading speech.
• political agenda, or propaganda.
• Violent speech.
• Irrelevant subject matter i.e not in accord with our constitution.

Constructive truthful interactions affiliated with Teachings of the Lord Buddha and building community relationships are encouraged. Lba is not against any religion, race or creed. Lba is against violence, hate, and abuse.

Any flagrant abuse will be deleted immediately. Please understand the Board takes this policy seriously and will without hesitation delete any user comment, post and affiliation if this policy is not adherred to.

Please be wise and carefully think about what you are posting.
The Buddha was always kind and Truthful, and we would like Lba online to emulate the Teachings of the great One.
